May 6th

We are starting to try and introduce the crib to Logan.  I think this is going to be a very very long process!  He is in no way interested in laying down in the crib, instead he thinks it's cool to play in (sounds a whole lot more fun, huh?)

I can only blame myself for never even trying until now, I hope he transitions better than I expect!  Either way he was really cute bouncing in it, walking around the crib trying to find me whenever I would squat down, playing peek-a-boo, etc.  

yep, we got the cutness in the crib down pat...just need to work on the sleeping in the crib.

May 5th

Happy 10 month birthday Logan!! :) Only 2 more months until his 1st birthday...how is that even possible?!  I can't imagine time going by any faster than this, but alas they say it skips even quicker when the kids get in school.  Can you say HOMESCHOOLING, I can't bear to have him grow up any quicker on me! lol.

Today we got Logan's big boy car seat in the mail!  I am so excited to have the new seat & know that he fits more comfortably in it.  As usual, knowing that I was getting a package that day I stalked the UPS man meeting him at the door to get the seat.  Logan & Oliver were more excited about the box than the seat, go figure..lol.  Once we had everything together and ready we plopped him in it and to my surprise...he loved it!  No whining, no wiggling, he was as calm as a cucumber!  Score!!  Thank you Britax Marathon for now making car rides more enjoyable!

May 4th

Logan got some new kicks from Franklin Goose today :)  They are a smidge too big length wise but his fat ol rolly polly foot takes up all of the width.  We love them, skulls & crossbones make his little rolly polly's look even sweeter, as if that were even possible.

We bought Logan a kiddie pool the other day & it was pretty enough outside today to go play in it (kiddie pool at wal-mart for $3...deal of the century!)  He had a blast and was so cute splashing away.

He now "cheeses" for the camera when he sees it :) so darling!

In preparation for Mother's Day here is a sneak peek of our mom's gifts...

did that help any?  not at all? ;) bahaha!! I know my mom too well to put the finished products up, but this year our mother's day gifts are coming from the heart & from scratch!  I need to get to crafting, otherwise we will be giving our moms an IOU!
