April 30th

So daddy did the most romantic thing known to man for mommy today, let me sleep in!  Woot!  I woke up to a sweet little babe who had already had breakfast & his morning playtime that was passed out napping on his daddy ♥

I just L-O-V-E when Logan is laying like that!  He is so cuddly, he just melts to you and is a big snuggle puff.  I kinda got jealous & wanted to switch spots to get in on the cuddle action, but the daddy had it down pat.

Justin mowed the yard today, with his shirt OFF.  (Insert sexy whistle) I was drooling over my man doing some yard work today!  I'm not going to lie, I totally made a sign and taped it to the front glass door that said "Dear sexy man mowing my front yard, can I have your #?  You are looking FINE shirtless! K Thanks- lady inside."  I know everyone that drove by probably laughed, or thought I was some cheating housewife..lol.  At least justin got a kick out of it :)

We went to dinner at my moms tonight, which meant Logan was going to get played with & oogled over by my baby sis.  Sarah loves her some Logan (or as she calls him 'her bubba') & Logan loves his Auntie Sarah!

April 29th

I found Justin's first gray hair today, neener neener neeeennnnerrr!!  Since I was in my bloggerific mood I documented it, lol..I'm sure he will hate me for that. ( I love you hubbs, promise I do!!)  I guess to be fair I also captured a REALLY flippin' adorable picture of my guys together, so he can't be too mad about the gray hair picture, right?

Logan was out at 9pm tonight!  I couldn't believe it, that's got to be the earliest his time clock gave out ever!  He's had a busy last few days, so it makes perfect sense.  Here's little booger passed out, mouth wide open & adorable :)  Hints how I was able to catch up the blog tonight.

Today was one of those days where you look back and just want to do a little jig because it was so wonderful, you know what I'm talking about right?  Today we took Logan to the Zoo for the first time!  We had such a great time & he loved every minute of it!  Okay, so maybe the hour turned hour & 45 minute car ride there (mapquest, you SUCK) wasn't his favorite part, but everything else was awesome!

Our great friends, might as well be family, the Davis went with us & the kiddo's were in heaven among the cute fuzzy animals & perfect sunny day.  Logan was just as content as could be hanging out in his stroller, watching the odd animals hang out.  I'm sure he had things like "hmm, that doesn't look like Oreo" or "that Oliver is really fat" pop into his thought bubble several times, lol.

Even better?  Because we got lost & showed up to the Zoo later than we planned, we got a FREE PASS to come back tomorrow!!  Guess what we will be doing tomorrow?? *wink*

April 25th

I have let it get out of control.

Our closet is a huge mess with hangers flung everywhere, clothes unorganized & just a giant mess.

Fixing that is next on my "house: to-do" list!!

April 24th

Hey, it's me again, Mrs. Big Fat Slacker here to provide you with the last FIVE days that I have missed.  I promise to work on my slacker-ness that has gone on in the month of April.  It's been a busy month, I promise May isn't as busy!! See...

So everything should be on time next month :)

Without further wait, here is whats going on today (as in the 24th):  One of the toys I ordered from Franklin Goose for Logan's 1st birthday is here!!!

I'm so excited about this little dump truck!  Logan is a huge fan of anything with wheels, as is every boy, & I just know that there will be many toys dumped out of this baby!  Even cooler, this truck is made out of 100% recycled materials & BPA free!  I think I just swooned over a toy dump truck, if ever that were possible!

April 23rd

Our little booger is growing leaps & bounds now.  

He pulls up on EVERYTHING, nearly giving his mommy a heart attack!  He is a brave as can be & nothing intimidates him, which also nearly gives me a heart attack.  He always has the cutest proud expression whenever he concurs a new obstacle.  Whether it's pulling up on his walker without it scooting out from him or pulling up on the entertainment center & realizing that the little black button that catches his eye turns on, and off, and on, and off the cable box he is smiling ear to ear all the while.

I can only imagine the boo-boo's, scratches, bumps & bruises we have in our future of having a little boy.  I need to get tougher, because I know myself & I know that with each boo-boo no matter how big or small, if my babe is hurt bring on the water works!  It will all be okay though.  Logan will help inch me closer to toughness, with his big huge grins of accomplishment & growth ♥

Mommy is so super glad that THIS happend at dinner time.  We could eat, the baby slept & all was well.

A big shout out to my mother in law, Melva...it's her birthday today!! :)  Melva is always sending out mass text massages that say "I give a big shout out to..." lol, so we have to return the love!  We are celebrating with her Sunday night.

April 14th

Well it's official, our poor little guy has a double ear infection.  The doctor said that his right ear is worse than his left & that this is the reason for the fevers and fussies.  I feel so bad for him!  Both Justin  I had ear infections out the wazoo when we were little so I hope that isn't insight as to what our spawn will have to endure.  At his sick visit he weighed 19 lbs 4oz with clothes on.

Thankfully the Amoxicillin & Motrin that he was prescribed is really doing the trick and we are starting to have a fun happy baby back.  The fevers are gone and the smiles are back!  You would have never known he was sick!

April 13th

Fevers, fussiness & clingy babe - oh my!  :(  Logan is pitiful when he is sick.  The fever has gone all the way up to 101.5 & Tylenol isn't touching it!  The only thing that has cooled him off are baths & nakedness.

April 12th

Our big boy is growing up so fast!  He is eating more of our food & meals these days.  A favorite being pastas!  Today for lunch he had chopped up lasagna and was having a blast feeding himself :)
